Spare Parts

The examination of high-quality batteries is extensive and involves several steps to identify the causes and effects of damage.

  1. For the basic assessment of repairability, a visual inspection is first carried out to detect obvious physical damage such as cracks or discoloration.

  2. Subsequently, electrical tests are performed, sometimes with specialized measuring instruments, to evaluate the battery's performance, including capacity, internal resistance, and charge/discharge behavior.

In cases of complex analyses for severe damage with specific progression, chemical analysis of the electrolytes or electrode materials can also be carried out by external institutes. This provides further information about the battery's condition. This intensive damage analysis may take more time than a simple evaluation.

as this type of examination often requires determining the cause of the damage. At the end of the analysis, a report is created summarizing the results and providing recommendations for extending the battery's lifespan or preventing future damage.

In cases of analysis to determine the value of the damage, which can describe the repair costs or confirm an assumed damage course, we are happy to assist.
